We did some building yesterday and created a
fourth ‘wall’ for our little space. Thanks to Clive for being a man and
being to do D.I.Y. We wouldn’t have got it done so quick if it wasn’t
for him. I helped document the process and hold things and saw a piece
of wood. I really like how we’re all working together and helping each
other. It’s not something I’m used to because in our projects we have
our own ambition and we get on with what we want to work on. It has been
fun though, I may possibly try to do another collaboration with someone
or some people, somehow if people are willing.
We made a frame and then stapled on a great big piece of canvas onto it. It has already been painted, ready for the possiblity that it will get worked on. On the back we were going to paint it all white, however that didn’t get completed, but this didn’t matter because Clive hung his ‘fire’ paintings on there which he created in the morning. This involved him setting his paintings on fire to see what effect they would have. It was carried out safely, don’t worry and I helped take photos for him (more collaboration, everything is collaboration haha).
