Killed The Unicorns.
"I slept through the comet that killed the unicorns."
I achieved another drawing today; I didn’t think I would manage it two days in a row. I woke up earlier then I have done in weeks and was awake, it felt good, but unusual and I even had breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages on toast - it was delicious). I don’t have a normal sleeping pattern at all and I so dearly want it back. I decided to relax for a while, seeing as I had plenty of time to waste today, BIG MISTAKE. I fell asleep for a couple of hours and woke up feeling more tired after my nap then I did before. That just doesn’t make sense to me.
I thought it was then a good time to sort myself out and get on with my new daily task. I had decided on the quote this morning and I’m afraid to say, it is from another Ice Age film. I got my sketchbook and pen and put on a film, yes you guessed it, Ice Age, the fourth one if you cared to know. I chose a couple of pictures to work from and off I went on another magical drawing adventure (without actually moving anywhere of course).
I might possibly do a few more like the two I have already completed, we shall see. There are a few more quotes I want to use, I’m just not sure which ones and what to illustrate them with. But I am enjoying myself, which is the main thing, I think.
