‘Blue II’. You may have realised these paintings have got simpler, this would be because they have. Being back at uni and beginning to create work again has been strange. I feel as though my mind has gone to mush over Easter. Unfortunately, my enjoyment for painting is slowly disappearing. I made this yesterday. This could possibly be the last painting I do for a while, but don’t hold me to that, things could change. Most of the time that I was creating this piece, I was thinking that I’d rather be having a nap or drawing, but I had to get it done, I couldn’t leave it unfinished. The relief was unbelievable when I had completed it. I could probably carry on and do a few more of these paintings, but right now I don’t think I could handle it.
