Off Day.

Yesterday I had a few possible choices of what I could do.
Option 1: Do another pain stakingly boring painting.
Option 2: Do a drawing and fulfill my want of doing one.
Option 3: Attempt some more sculpture.

You may think that this was a difficult decision, but alas it was not. I needed to do something different, so 1 was out of the question. Doing the sculpture workshop was refreshing and just what I needed. I have realised that I can’t stick to one medium without getting bored of it at somepoint. The weather wasn’t the best, it couldn’t decide if it wanted to be sunny or rainy, so it was both! I didn’t feel like going outside, which meant sculpture had to be put to one side. This left me with drawing and that is what I did, or rather I started it. Drawing standing up isn’t the greatest, instead I got distracted by practising a possible layout for the paintings, when I have to hand my work in. Which is shown above and I am quite happy with. We’ll just have to see if it goes ahead. I also did a lot socialising with people in the studios, which is very unusual for me, I normally keep to myself and get on with work. I think I was having an off day (sorry tutors), but I now know that a table and chair could be helpful next time I draw, I’ll give it a go, hopefully it’ll get finished next week.
